Sometimes (or should I say most of the time!) it can feel like there just aren’t enough hours in the day to do alllll things we want to do. We want to play with our kids and pets, see our friends and family, pay the bills, keep the house clean, get outside and somehow amongst all that find the time to workout, lose the weight and keep it off. With so many different options out there it can feel overwhelming and like you barely even have to find the time to decide what workout or what “diet” you should do and then find the time to actually do it.
Here are some simple tips to get you started!
1. Mindfulness: See where you are spending most of your time!
You’ll probably surprise yourself with how much time you are actually spending doing things like scrolling Instagram, watching Netflix or just meandering around. Being more mindful of this is the first step to creating more time in your day for you to work on crushing your goals.
2. Set Goals: Realistic, Specific Goals.
Take some time to really think about what it is you want to achieve and WHEN you want to achieve it by. Having these goals can help you to stay focused and make it a priority in your life.
3. Find an Accountability Partner: Talk to a friend or coach!
Talk to someone you trust and let them know what your goals are. Telling someone else what your plan is is a great way to keep you accountable or maybe you can even convince them to get on board with you and find a new workout or meal prep buddy!
4. Get Some Additional Help: Hire a coach to help you sift through all the info!
Hiring a coach takes the guesswork out of all that info out there and gives you the opportunity to spend more time doing the things you love and helps you find a solution that will work best for you with the time you DO have and how to keep it up at a pace that works within your lifestyle.
